Tamrin Ingram is a skilled photography professional with a BFA from Columbus College of Art & Design and an MFA from the University of Arizona. Throughout her career Tamrin has worked a range of positions, from an e-commerce photographer for Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams to a studio assistant for Frank Gohlke. Her expertise ranges from retouching and color correction to large format analog film and everything in between. She has 7 years of classroom experience; teaching adjunct courses at the University of Arizona and Bossier Parish Community College, as a full time instructor for Louisiana Delta Community College, and as an ELA and Photoshop teacher for high school students in Franklin Parish, Louisiana. Tamrin loves collaboration and excels at working with a team.
Her fine arts work incorporates large format photographs, poetry, and familial records that explore themes of generational memory and familial trauma. Most of her work is landscape based and addresses the environmental impact of pollution throughout the Cotton Belt. Her work has been shown across the United States in Arizona, Ohio, Georgia, Illinois, and her home state of Louisiana.
Currently Tamrin lives in rural Louisiana with her partner, beautiful baby girl, and their pack of animals, where they are working towards building a sustainable homestead.
